Delete your account from the app
You can delete your Mego Matrimony account yourself, at any time, without contacting us:
- Open the app and go to Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Confirm — we'll explain what's about to happen, then ask you to confirm once more
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no recovery period and no way for us to undo it once confirmed.
Can't open the app?
Email admin@megomatrimony.com from the mobile number or email address on your account and ask us to delete it. Once we've verified it's you, we process these requests within 7 business days.
What gets deleted
Your account, profile details, photos, selfie verification image, horoscope information, messages, interests and shortlists, and your subscription history — all of it, removed from our active systems immediately.
What doesn't
Our payment processor, Razorpay, keeps its own transaction records independently of us, as financial regulation requires — that record exists on their side, not ours, and isn't something account deletion here can reach. Backups that already existed before your deletion request are purged on our routine backup cycle, not instantly.
Changing your mind
If you're not ready to delete everything, you can turn off your profile's visibility instead from Settings, or simply stop using the app — neither of those deletes anything, and both are fully reversible.
