How to request deletion
Mego Agent does not currently have an in-app delete option. To close your agent account, email admin@megomatrimony.com from your registered mobile number or email address, with the subject "Delete my Mego Agent account".
Once we've verified it's you, we process these requests within 7 business days.
What gets deleted
Your agent profile and KYC details, your payout bank/UPI details, your public directory listing if you had one turned on, and your login credentials.
What doesn't
Commission and payment records tied to your account are kept for the period required by financial and tax record-keeping law — this is our own obligation as the party that paid you, not something tied to your continued access. Backups that already existed before your request are purged on our routine backup cycle, not instantly.
Any member profile you registered on Mego Matrimony while an active agent is not deleted along with your account — that profile belongs to the member, not to you, and is governed by the Mego Matrimony Privacy Policy.
This page is maintained by Mego Consultancy and applies to the Mego Agent app. It is edited from the admin panel, so the version shown here always matches the version shown inside the app.
